It's a neat place. TONS of stuff!! They are a little overpriced in my opinion, but worth the look. Lots of old stuff, lots of junky stuff. It's nice though!
I went to this "thrift store" when it first opened. The prices were okay on some items but a lot of the items they considered antiques were ridiculously high. Still, I thought I would give it a few more tries since they were just starting out. The prices only got higher and the junk got worse. The owners or employees follow the customers around to make sure they aren't stealing anything. They also claim to use Ebay as a price guide but the prices aren't even close to Ebay's. I would NOT recommend taking a special trip to come down to this dump. The only review on here is, of course, from one of the owners. If you're in that area check out the Hooks & Hangers or even the Maryland Antiques Center...at least they are cleaner and prices are more reasonable.
Haha, yep, they use eBay as a price guide. It's true. Unrealistic prices all around. I went down there once to look at records. They run Craigslist ads posing as estate sales, with photos promising tons of records. So I went. And yeah there are tons, it's true. But the majority is crappy consignment store music, and it's all filthy. Also, be prepared to pay more than average, and be ready for prices to change on a whim, and be ready for some of your selected albums to suddenly be "not available" when you go to checkout ... because "You can't have those, they're posted on eBay." WHAT? I just got it off your shelf! "Oh, you can still have it. But it will cost twice as much." WHAT?!? That's just bad practices. It's less a store than it is an ongoing family yard sale, inside a moldy and rotting building.... Thumbs down.
